MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS APARMENT LEASING CONSULTANT.
Under the general direction of the Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant will own and drive the property's sales. The primary duties are to greet prospects and present the features and benefits at their property and to secure leases for Nolan Communities.
The Leasing Consultant position will assist in the financial and operational performance of the property by: • Touring apartments • Maximizing income by ensuring budgeted occupancy is met, file compliance is maintained, Secret Shopper score’s meet company standard • Contributing to maximum occupancy by leasing and preleasing apartments and minimizing vacancy loss • Completing and entering leasing and renewal paperwork and other results data • Assisting in management of resident/prospect relations effectively • Accountable for resident retention, sales and marketing performance and contributing to the asset’s online reputation and brand • Play a part in the maintaining of the asset aesthetically • Conducting Business in accordance with Nolan Real Estate Policies and Procedures and federal and local regulations • Projecting a professional image that enhances and develops relations with residents, prospects, fellow team members, vendors and comps • Additional duties as required
* A high school education or equivalent is required * Previous apartment leasing experience is required * Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner * Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends * Must be able to walk the property including climbing stairs
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer • Onesite experience preferred • Experience with lead management software preferred • Proficient in Math • Familiarity with various social media sites for marketing purposes
